This workshop is designed for all conventional loggers in the province of New Brunswick. It will give participants the opportunity to enhance current skills and knowledge and develop new ones in the following subject areas: Chainsaw sharpening and maintenance, safe handling of a chainsaw and felling and limbing. The workshop is designed for experienced loggers and it is the second workshop for conventional loggers in the New Brunswick Forest Safety Association’s SAFE Certified Logging Professional program.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT: 

• Chainsaw (including owner’s manual)

• Personal protective equipment

• Felling accessories (including lever and/or wedges)

• Maintenance tools and equipment (including fuel and oil)
