HEALTH AND SAFETY AUDIT SUPPORT

Using accident frequency and severity rates to gauge the success of a health and safety program is misleading, inaccurate and will not provide companies (especially small ones) with the information needed to promote strong health and safety programs. In contrast a thorough and well thought out health and safety audit will enable a company to measure the effectiveness of their health and safety program and to identify any weaknesses within the program.

The New Brunswick Forest Safety Association is fully equipped and skilled to provide companies with the tools and support needed to build and implement an effective internal health and safety auditing system. We can also help you reach the CSA Z1000 - Occupational Health and Safety Management standard, which is fast becoming the most recognized standard in health and safety management.
