Workers are commonly called upon to perform material handling tasks during the various stages of manufacturing a product. Performing the same handling tasks, day after day, contributes to increasing the risks of accident because of a kind of habituation to risk.

It is with this in mind that this training will guide you towards the assimilation of all the basic rules that will allow you to work in a compliant and safe manner.


Target Audience

It is intended for regular and casual workers who want to perform work with a hoist. If you work in the industrial, construction or other related fields and you have to lift and move loads, or if you are simply interested in acquiring new skills, this training is for you.


Training Goal

  • Know the different components of a hoist;

  • Respect the proper work methods and safety rules;

  • Be able to inspect and maintain all the accessories of a hoist;

  • Know the rules and steps involved in a slinging procedure;

  • Know how to handle the different lifting accessories in complete safety.
