This workshop is designed for all thinning saw operators in the province of New Brunswick. It will give participants the opportunity to enhance current skills and knowledge and develop new ones in the following subject areas: Personal protective equipment, saw safety features, saw maintenance, site planning, thinning, emergency preparedness and response and general safety. The workshop is designed for experienced operators and it is the second workshop for thinning saw operators in the New Brunswick Forest Safety Association’s SAFE Certified Logging Professional program.
