This workshop is designed for all mechanical logging operators in the province of New Brunswick. It will give participants the opportunity to enhance current skills and knowledge and develop new ones in the following subject areas: Loading, unloading and securing roundwood; loading, unloading and floating equipment; equipment operation, maintenance and repair; ergonomics; site planning and work; and basic chainsaw use. The workshop is designed for experienced operators and it is the second workshop for mechanical logging operators in the New Brunswick Forest Safety Association’s SAFE Certified Logging Professional program.
